AARRGGHHH It's a Fiat!!! have you ever driven one of them? they're nice enough cars, untill you have to work on them and keep on bumping your head on the bonnet...oh and it's an 'engine out job' to do the timing belt too...did I mention Torque steer too? 220bhp through the front wheels is never the ideal set up, add a Turbo to that and it gets worse...quick though, I'll grant it that

PS, A quick question to fellow englishmen here...dont you think it's nice to occationally see a car with English plates on these forums?

Precisely, a welded diff...
Example. Ford Focus RS. 2.0 Straight 4 212bhp, Quaife (I live about 5 miles from them.. Yay me!! ) LSD diff, and yet the torque steer is LEATHAL! It will pull you across the road depending entirely upon the camber of the road, the road surface or because one side of the road is wetter than the other.. And don’t tell Cliffy to shut up when he actually knows what he is talking about…

Arthur, we had this discussion about six months ago. You were wrong then and you are about to be wrong now. Unless you have changed your story, STOP NOW.

A longitudinally mounted straight 5 turbo'd, mounted to an audi quattro system. The radiators are connected via very long hoses...!

Check this out--fairly rare--Hispanosuiza HS21 GTS--7.0 litre NA V8, a modest 600 bhp, supposed to weigh less than 1000 kg and do 0-62 in under 3.0, and the 1/4 in 11's...just think if you threw a set of turbo's on that...I also think better looking that the new Enzo and Murcielago and Gallardo...

Also, the Sledgehammer vette is faster, but the McLaren is the fastest "production" car in the world...I forget what the rules are to be a 'production' vehicle...I also know of several Supras and other vehicles that for much less are way faster than the McLaren...but then you aren't flossin in a center drivers seat...

PS--sorry about the URL on the pic--if you want it gone, just remove it and I will fix and re-post.
