Another Which Car Question

I am planning on buying a new car in the next few weeks and have narrowed my choices to a '05 Dodge SRT-4 or a '05 Mustang V-6 (automatic). I realize that there is quite a bit of differences to these two particular cars, but they are my preferences. (I'd like to get the 05 Mustang GT, but I want to keep the new car price between 20K-24K)
This car would be used as a daily driver (20 miles/day average) in the Tampa Bay area. I currently own a 93 Honda Del Sol, and I've owned a 89 Mustang GT and a 93 Mustang LX 5.0 in the past, so I have some experience with the Mustang.
I'd appreciate any info/opinions/experiences concerning either of my two choices. Thanks.

umm i would go with the mustang because it looks better and has more power. but why automatic? standards get more mpg. the srt-4 is a good car but it doesnt look as good.

stang manual.
I agree with alpha & you already have experience with the mustang brand so working/modding it should be a breeze, there easy to mod anyway, great ride for the price.

The 2005 mustang is one great looking car. The SRT-4's styling is not nearly as cool, and it seems a little crude. (IMO) The Mustang is somewhat refined and totally cool. The SRT-4 does have more punch than the Mustang, however you'd most likely get more attention in the Stang then the Neon SRT-4. Make it a manual tranny, and you'll have on hell of a cool car.

Obviously, you have never been in tampa bay.
I don't know where tf you've seen tvrs but certainly not @ the beach in tampa! Haha.
Well either way, tvr's are quick, but extremely uncomfortable, and therfore impractical.
And it sounds like this guy wants something practical.
so, 2 seater race car, or 4 door sport compact, that is pretty quick anyways?
I'd still pick the beefed up neon ^_^
