Need references

Hi guys,
I'm new to this world about cars, so please guide(search didn't give me a good result) me
After watching a lot of racing games on tv, i started to have interest in cars and would love to learn everything about. So, if there're any sites that you think it's a good startfor beginner to learn about cars,please links me.

if you like imports go to: http://www.import-heaven.net/index.shtml
howstuffworks.com is also a good site. you can also just go to sites that sell car parts and read all the descriptions about the parts. You can also get some books from barnes and nobles, the "Haynes Xtreme Sport Compact Performance Book" is a good starter book.

you could also subscribe to a few magazines, sport compact car, import tuner, and super street are a few of the good ones.
