Agreed, all that proves is that Saabs are safe cars..Renault's new Laguna received five stars in the crash tests too..as did many other manufaturers, all that statement proves is that cars are getting progressivly safer..which is good!

Agreed! Kias and Fords (not putting them down) also have 5 stars on some of their cars, but they are far from being the safest!

I'd like to say 'see ya when you get proof' too, but I know for a fact that if any modern car has to be the safest Renault would piss all over Saab, if I were to have read your post a few months ago or even a few weeks ago I'd probably of said Saabs are safest too...but I wouldn't of set out to prove it!

I am still waiting to see that, and there are many cars with 5 stars on your sheet: (Companies with cars that have 5 stars from your research at http://www.euroncap.com/content/safe...ings.php?id1=3) Mercedes-Benz, Renault, Toyota. (Many have several cars in it were as Saab has only one....and these stats are Euro only, you need to get the "record" to beat all cars...Case closed!

Exactly. Thats why i go for independent Co.'s. They are the tru manufactutors that make vehicals for drivers not just for show.
