'87 plymouth voyager van rack and pinion

we are trying to change the rack and pinion in my '87 plymouth voyager and we can not seem to get the steering nuckle off the stearing box. how can we do this without breaking it or having to use a saw and cut it off?

if you can see the knuckle theres a bolt or roll pin needs to be removed then find the opening that the bolt was pinching wedge a large screwdriver or chisel in there to open should pop off if no slice opening should pry off once the bolt or pin is removed
