undercoating

has anyone undercoated their car?? is it hard to do or is it worth paying someone else to do it?

well just around the back of the car to try to keep water from leaking into the spare tire well

I did a half-ton before. It's easy. You just have to get some poly and mask off the whole body and spray away, being sure not to spray the driveshaft (if applicable). Took probably about 2 hours for 3 coats.

Going to be doing my car after I get it back from the body shop.

I wouldn't pay someone to do it, do it yourself.
