Is it worth it?

Hey, i was on Autotrader the other day and i saw an ad for a Corvette and was looking for opinions from other whether or not it would be worth it. Heres what it said:

Year: 1972
Make: CHEVROLET
Model: CORVETTE
Model Detail:
Price: $850
Mileage: ------- km
Date: 4/24/2005
Ad Type: Private
Comment: Project, have one with exc. chassis, 454 auto., loaded, other has rotten frame. Good body. $850.

Any and all opinions would be appreciated. Thanx.

That is beautiful car but, you will need to get that rust off. I think you mentioned that the body had rust. Also I didnt see how many miles it has Iam thing at least 100,000. If you can fix and are handy with cars and have that money to invest it might be good.

Well sadly it doesnt say how many km's are on the engine, but neither car should have rust on the body cause they are fibre glass if i remember correctly. And it comes with 2 cars i think, the good car with the 454 auto (would become manual swap) and then the other car with a rotted frame but good body. $850 for both (i think) i would need to call first.

You have to ask yourself if you are willing to take on a project like this. Generally it is either time or money. By getting these cars (?) so cheap it means that there is going to be either a lot of your time or money spent on fixing them up.

As for me, I don't need another project. But I would still pick those 2 up in a heartbeat.
