Ok, well how logical would something like a 1960 Cadillac 4 door be?

It has plenty of room for the 'goods' whatever it may be and theres room for other people (accomplaces) and since it was built before the time of crumple zones then it shoul easily withstand ramming other cars, going through baracades, and hitting other random things. And they are pretty much bulletproof the way they are (made of steel, unlike newer cars). They may be easily noticed but they should be strong enough, big enough, and maybe even fast enough to help you get the 'goods' and people/crew away from the scene and out of danger. Theres really like any safety devices either, you may be lucky if it even has a seatbelt. Just a thought.

Call up a few dealerships and ask them.

Lol. "Hello. I would like to know which one of your cars would be best to rob a bank." "Why?" "Umm... No reason...." That will go over well... he he.

Didn't one of the famous '20s or '30s bank robbers actually write a letter to Henry Ford praising the power of his V8? A google search suggested it was John Dillinger, but I didn't find a copy of the letter.

Anyway, I'd have to go for stealth and an early '90s J body in a boring color. Maybe a Chevy front and a Pontiac rear if you want to get creative. Leave the witnesses saying "uh, he was medium height, medium build, medium hair, medium car. . .

Granted, a light vehicle precludes any conflict: you're never going to ram an impala or a crown vic and drive away. Nevertheless, it's essential that the car be non-descript. Have you seen the google satellite pictures? As much fun as the souped-up Hummer would be, the ride would be short; they'd watch you from the sky. How about a custom suspension and motor in a Dodge Caravan with faded maroon and wood-grain paint?

I would consider a bike a possibility. Very fast, very good handling, braking, and you could go between cars. The main problem would be a lack of storage space for cargo/goods, and if the coppers could catch up to you they could ram you.

They dont usually ram bikes. That creates a high risk for the driver, which po-po's dont usually want to have happen.

Keyword there though, 'USUALLY', if theres a risk you'll get away (and are a risk to others while doing it) then they will probably do it in order to protect other people.
