I'll remember that. You never know when you are in the back of a car/van and come across the need to hide from someone.

An E30 BMW M3 like in that movie.. you know the one. Just take away the grill and most people wont know what it is, put kevlar or somthing inside all the pannels, bullet proof windows etc.

OR Lancia Delta Integrale "The last drivers car". Get one that had beeen rallied and stick an interior in it so it has rollcage, no air bags an stuff, AWD turbo, light, inconspicuous, noone would know what it was. The only problem would be the initial price.

They don't give a sh*t about your safety if you just robbed something. I've seen it happen many times in "World's Wildest Police Videos" <-- . If you are going less than about 30mph they WILL ram you as there will not be too much injury. Ya just can't let 'em get that close.

In the (lame) movie Taxi (with Jimmy Fallon and Queen Latifah) the bad women used a BMW 760i. It worked well cause it held all their goods and lost the po.

I started cracking up when Queen Latifah started spewing technobabble about the 760i when they were chasing it.

Anyway, I'd have to go for stealth and an early '90s J body in a boring color. Maybe a Chevy front and a Pontiac rear if you want to get creative. Leave the witnesses saying "uh, he was medium height, medium build, medium hair, medium car. . .

Granted, a light vehicle precludes any conflict: you're never going to ram an impala or a crown vic and drive away. Nevertheless, it's essential that the car be non-descript. Have you seen the google satellite pictures? As much fun as the souped-up Hummer would be, the ride would be short; they'd watch you from the sky. How about a custom suspension and motor in a Dodge Caravan with faded maroon and wood-grain paint?

Thank you Lothar. A very nice contribution to this thread. However, I believe that Doge Caravan has the "crumpple zone' body frame, hence making it not suitable for ramming. As well, due to the computerized assistance, the engine, in eventuality the car gets PITed, is prone to shut down.
