no no...all you do is push up on the shifter and it goes up a gear..with out the clutch but the only problem with that is that when you push the gas all the way down...it follows the computer settings even if the shifter is pushed over to "manual mode"

No clutch, you switch them by putting the shifter into a groove and then push up and down to shift

Mutually exclusive requirements. Especially if you want to race it to, as there is always someone out there with more money and/or more ingenuity. You spend all sorts of money and time on a run of the mill Eclipse/Honda/Subaru only to get your azz handed to you by someone in a 30 year old Pinto or VW Bug that they spent half of what you did on...

As to your first requirement, ANY car meets it. As to your second, any relatively new car does NOT meet it.

You can do whatever you want with that engine. you just have to be more skilled than the average BOLT-ON crowd. But ANY car can be modded.

Jeeze, people are lazy these days. If there aren't a bazillion aftermarket parts ready to be bolted on, then it's assumed that the car can't be modded. Learn how the parts work, then make or adapt your own. "Oh my god, it's a custom job! It can't be done and I don't want to take the time to do it!"
