Isn't that a 308 or 328? My guess is a Ferrari 328 GTS.

It's kinda hard to tell because if you look at the sides it looks like a gto and if you look at the front it looks like a testorosa

Ferrari 308 GTS.

This was the replacement for the 246 Dino, and the first Dino to wear the Ferrari badge. Later it got injection a bump to 3.2 liters (and a new 328 designation) 4 valves per cyl, and finally was replaced by the 348, which was an all new car.

Here's the 328:

The 288GTO was based on this body, but with a twin turbo V8 mounted longitudinally (vs the transversely in the 308/328) The bodywork on the GTO was MUCH "fatter." Also, teh GTO was never avaialble from the factory in the targa roof version, though a couple 308 GTS examples got converted.

look at the trim (side indicator lights etc) on your 288, then ChrisV's 308 ... it is most definitely not a 288

Lol!

let's compare directly, first the 308 that started the thread, then the GTO.

First off, the GTO is NOT a targa. None were. But even if that major bit of clue wasn't there, the GTO has 4 large lights below the bumper, the 308 does not. the GTO has tall body color mirrors, the 308 does not. The GTO has wide fenders, the 308 does not. The 308 and the GTO share roofline, glass and doors, but that's about it.

Now, I could see the confusion of someone had tossed a picture of a later 308 GTB out there, as it isn't a targa top either. But there are still noticeable differences other than that (such as the scoops behind the rear wheels, the 4 large lights, the wider fenders, etc). Here's an '80s 308 GTB for comparison:

This is not a GTO, either, but it's closer than the 308 GTS that started the thread.

This thread is simply proof, if you needed any more, that ChrisV is an absolute genius.
