I was denied the loan..

They required my co-signer to have a credit rating of at least 600, my moms is 573.

My aunt, however, said she might co-sign with me and her credit is in the high 700's maybe the low 800's. Upsettingly, she is in california until next tuesday, and a car in as immaculate condition with as low miles as that one has a high liklehood of being snatched up quickly.

Now if you'll all excuse me, I am going to go cry myself to sleep in the fetal position at being denied my dream car.

I wouldn't worry too much about it...

I mean yes, it sucks, but life has its way of sorting things out.

That is a LOT of money to fork out for a car, and while obviously, yes, every drive to the corner store would be a thrill, its a lot to have at your age.

What other cars have you had?

Why not work up to that car? You'll definately appreciate it more when you get it.

Aspire to have a newer one for the same price at age 22. Think of how much money you'll have in the bank right now.

Matthew, wouldn't a part of the thrill be automatically sucked out if you wait till you get older to get your dream car? (***Imagining Zalight wailing even louder while I continue with my "helpful" comments....*** ). I hope your Aunt loves you very much, Zalight, 'cos if you can't make your payments, they'll be coming after her.

But hey, just out of curiousity, if you'd gotten the car and paid it off, in say, 5 years, do you think it would still be your dream car then? Seems like a lot of money to spend on a car only to trade it off, or something. What do you think? Ack.... I better to go sleep. I'm rambling.

Thanks for the help guys, but it will not be needed.

I went over to my grandmas house yesterday just to visit, and afterI told her what hapened to me at the dealer, she offered o cosign. I was like "allright, Is your credit above 600?" she said it should be. So I picked up a credit app and she filled it out, I dropped it off at sandia BMW and waited for there call.

When it came I was informed we were approved. After I wet my pants from happiness, I asked what her credit was................are you ready?

825

The best score you can have is 850. so I got the car and drove it as much as I could yesterday. Ohh so happy!

Now for the downside, The e36 M3 has some trouble areas that are rather common:
-rear trailing arm bushings
-rear shock mounts
-plastic impellar fan
-ehaust hangers
-5th gear "issue"

My e36 passes all these except for the 5th gear issue. Basicly, If the car is cold, and you put it in 5th, then back in neutral, the shifter stays under 5th in neutral. Not a big deal at all, its just annoying.

Also, after I got my car home last night I went to get my CD's and listen to my Harmon Kardon sound system, but My 6 disc cd tray is missing. Not the whole thing, just the tray that you put the CDs in.

The dealer is giong to get a HARDCORE bitching out for that. A-holes, selling me a car mmissing the damn CD tray.

Other than that though, the car is perfect, it's fast, sounds amazing, and is just so damn sexy!

I'll have pics up as soon as I figure out how to work photobucket.
