Possible BMW buy

Hey guys-
I found a 1974 BMW 3.0CS for sale for only 5000. It was a auto theft recovery. It is missing the intake manifold and carb, along with the alternator and radiator. It has a few minor dents to the body, but the trim is mint. The interior is mint as well along with all the crome work. Now for that price, is that a reasonable car to look into for a low budget restoration?
Any other information would be helpful as well.
Thanks guys.
-Justin

If you have something that is 30 years old then it won't be low budget and seeing that it is a Bimmer than that makes it more expensive. Nice car but for the people with big wallets

Well since Im not looking for the car to be in mint condition, and most of it is pretty well taken care of as it is now, it seems like all it needed was the intake along with what else I listed, but for now, the general apperance of the car is deffinitly in a "drivable" state minus of course the engine problem. But for the new price of 3900 it sure is hard for me to pass up.
What would you do?

First of all what is the mileage on the engine and transmission, and if they were low I still wouldn't do it, maybe find a cheaper project

It means buy it goddamn it. If it has that many miles on it then my advise would be to buy it. Shit that thing will last forever
