Help needed please

Hi everyone,just wondered if anyone knew what this car was? its driving me made trying to track it down on the net

im not sure but for some reason crysler comes to mind. it list looks like it im guessing i dont know

Bugatti? maybe, the grill looks like it. and is it not right hand drive?
cant really see the wheel.

Wow, I don't know...I keep wanting to say Morgan or Panoz, but I don't know exactly how long Panoz has been around...

The answer was
Auto Avio Costruzioni tipo 815, body by Touring Superleggera tipo Brescia.
In fact THE FIRST car built by Ferrari.Two were built in 1940 and entered in the Mille Miles

Actually the two Tipo 815's were built in 1938/39 and entered in the 1940 Mille Miglia. Mechanically it was a much modified Fiat. The "815" stands for 8 cylinders / 1500 cc's.

The one you have pictured is probably a reproduction built in the late '80's or early '90's. Note the difference in the vents between the grille and headlights. Also notice the original car has exposed chrome door hinges and no badging on the hood.

Is it just me (again) or is the original pic somehow photoshop'd. Take a close look at the reflections on the side...fishy, and the lighting of the hood compared to the background...fishy, and the darkness of the bottom edges...fishy...

Bav smells something...fishy.
