Best Budget Turbo

I am looking into buying a possible weekend car but also kind of a back up car. Now I drive a Mitsubishi Eclipse GS N/T. I am looking to buy a factory turbo car but on kind of a small budget. I wouldnt have more that 7-8 grand. Hopefully nothing over 60k miles. What car would be the best factory turbo for around that price? Like I said this probably wont be a daily driver but will deffinitly see some road time.

I was gonna say you could always go for one of the first or early second generation Talons but if you already have an Eclipse lol. An older Toyota Supra or Celica would be nice and i think you could get one of those for under $7000 with lower mileage and in decent shape. I cant really think of too many factory turbo cars right now, sorry.

You could buy my '89 Sunbird GT Turbo for $1500 CDN

seriously don't though...I wouldn't want to give you the burden.

Not a good idea to get a used factory turbo car, especially one thats going to be several years old given your budget. N/A is far more safe from repairs imo.

My suggestion to you would be to get a miata and buy turbo or sc stages for it. Miatas are very reliable, they can be made fast in a straight line and at autocross.
