1987 Nissan Sentra - Smoking

I am a novice car man, so please be patient with me. I have a 1987 Nissan Sentra that is smoking at the exhaust and sputtering. I sounds like it is trying to stall when it is idling. What are the possible problems? Please help!

haha...good idea

but if he wants something more practical...

smoking...one cause might be...too much motor oil?
dirty catalytic converter?

idling problem...ignition coil (the same problem that my car had a long time ago)
dirty injectors?
mal functioning fuel pump?
old oil filter?

anyways, these are just guesses...its best that you check with a licensed mechanic when you go to a shop or something.

If you're car is smoking than you should make it quit before it gets lung cancer/intake cancer.
