88 olds cutlass supreme esc code

i have a 88 olds with a 2.8
it gives a esc code
electronic spark control
i have swapped the module with a supposedly good one i bought off ebay (module behind coilpack)
and also the crank sensor
still the same code and runs exactly the same . runs but like poop
anyone have any idea's where to look next?

im wondering if one of the coils on the coilpack could be in poor shape and causing the code?

Without datastreams we could guess all day as to what the problem is, and eventually somebody would be right. You need to do further troubleshooting.

i was affraid of that responce
but thanks for the effort
if you dont have access to a datalogger where would you look next?
think id be wasteing my time swapping out coils
i have nothing but time lol

I'd break out my trusty DVOM and a wiring diagram and start looking for something fishy, just like in the olden days.
