Sounds like you've had that experience, I have been thinking of getting one, you seem like the person to talk to. Is there any problems that I will face with it, what kind of gas mileage should I get with the TSI, is it a dependable car?

Dunno, I have an ESI. I get around 24 MPG city, 32 MPG HWY. I would assume similar for a TSI (maybe a little lower). I've always owned Talons and if they've been taken care of, you shouldn't have any major problems. I have a friend who has a TSI and he absolutely loves it.

I think most of the problem is either distance away or no money. I'd love to take the car off your hands but i am in Canada and dont have that much money or anything you'd consider trading for. I hope you find a buyer soon.

Be careful with a '95-'97 DSM, especially one with a performance clutch (a performance clutch like the ACT 2600 will add extra stress to the already poorly designed thrust bearing... i.e. inducing crankwalk). I'm not trying to scare you away from them... I'm sold on them myself. I just want to prevent you from having a bad experience. At very least have the car checked out by a mechanic before you purchase, and make sure to make a special check for crankwalk.

Good luck.
