Car Reliability, anyone have a good site, for used cars?

I'm buying a 2002/2003 used car that's gona be pretty expensive, I don't want to pay ANYTHING except for oil changes and gas, for at least 5 or 6 years.

I'm going to be putting very few miles on the car, and it's discontinued and supercharged.

Is there a website where I can find out the probability of that?

By knowing it was discontinued around 2002 Id say Firebird or Camaro, but there is no 2003 so I am not sure. As for their reliability, google is youre friend.

yep, and I looked at google.

They only had UK reports for it, and the british have different conditions than america.

I then found some useless ratings which said the car was perfect, then I found some more useless ratings, which said it costs 600$ a year to maintain, again no problems just replacing air filters and windshield cleaner.

Then I found more useless ratings which only compared the car, again perfect, but didn't have ratings for other cars I wanted to compare it to (G35).

I wana know what's actualy gona break down on this thing.

Here's the problem. There are specialist repair shops for all makes and models. Why? Because ANY car can break, even the highest rated cars. there are no guarantees in life that you won't need to do some work on it. And it's worse if you don't know much about cars, as you can inadvertantly miss important clues while you're driving and make a small problem a major one.

You have to treat each car individually, look at how it was already maintained, and go from there. The car in my sig is a daily driver. They aren't supposed to be reliable.

^ Thats true, in general mercs have a poor reliability rating and the parts will be expensive, however, you're asking for something thats hard to expect out of most cars. Get a repair manual, do some research on common problems with that model, and most of all enjoy your ride. I think one of the most important resources is a good website dedicated to mercs where you can ask questions and do some research. Find one.
