Yellow Cars

I'm thinking about getting a rally yellow Cobalt LS coupe but some of my friends are saying that yellow shouldn't be on any cars except sports cars, what are your guys opinions?

I think it'd look good. Yellow goes good with some cars and i think the Cobalt is one of them.

Well, non-sporty or non-performance cars in yellow tend to bring to mind taxis and lemons. Yellow is a color to stand out in,to be seen. It's not subtle, and it's not conservative. Putting it on a conservative or basic car is kind of a jarring contradiction. But if you like it, and want it, then that's really all that matters in the end. Besdes, a coupe isn't as conserative anyhow.

Also depends on how dark of a yellow you mean. Pale or bright.

if you have a problem with a lead foot stay away from bright colors, they attract unwanted attention

she could pull me over anytime though maybe even frisk me

Reminds me of a taxi...I love demo derbys. I entered in a few myself with an old Nissan Sentra. Little 4 banger 5-speed. I won nearly every race. This is demo-racing though, not derbys. Figure 8 races are my favorite.

Central Wisconsin on the 4th of July weekend. I don't even know where. I just know it's up by my friend's campground. It's fun, but it's the only time I do it. Can't afford it.
