Old Car in Oregon

I travel on Oregon HWY 20 quite frequently and between Bend and Burns on the South side fo the HWY (between mile post 81 & 82) is this old car. I have included some photos of it below, and am interested to know if anyone out there has any idea on the year / make / model. It looks like a precursor to the over-popular PT cruiser. It has suicide doors and a fairly distinct "V" shaped hood, but other than that I couldn't find any distinguishing markings on it. Both the hood and trunk door are gone, and in general, it is pretty-much gutted out. I'd like to know what beauty this auto one was and would appreciate any help.

Thanks!

I believe what you have there is a 1941 Nash Ambassador.
