Good place to start and learn about cars?

I was wondering is there any sticky or site on the web where I can start and learn about cars? And what is a good magazine i should get to know more about cars. I used to have Car and Driver but it wasn't taht useful for me. I'm basically trying to learn about cars because I'm getting my first car in a couple of years and want to know what to get, value, etc. etc. Also things about car parts, specs. And magazines that talk about these.

Those and Road and Track seem to be my favorite but Super Street and Sport Compact Car help with a lot of tuning

Swap the 1.8 liter with a 2.5 liter Altima and you've got an SE-R without suspension mods

PAS - Performance Auto & Sound - great for mods/stereos. Especially Stereos.
