Bad business experience with Barretire
I bought 4 new wheels via the internet from Barretire dba LA Wheels out of Barre, VT in June this year. UPS delivered three wheels and lost one in shipment. UPS claims they can't deal with me direct so I'm referred back to Barretire since they are the shipper. I became extremely upset with the runaround and flamed the manager, Todd, during one of our telephone visits, now they ignore all inquiries with a reply to my question saying "we are looking into it", My e-mails to their site are completely ignored except for their automated response. I've tried BBB for recourse without action due to "no such business at address". Can anyone give advise as to how I recover my investment of wheel and shipping charges? Ironic side story; during same time, was that UPS had a driver working out of the distribution site my wheel was last logged caught selling packages he had been stealing on e-bay, had over 4000 packages at his house.
