Best Car Under 25K?

What is the fastest 0-60 car for under $25,000 that is 1997 or newer and is stock? So far I have been looking and I have found that the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 is where its at. Running 0-60 in 4.8's. If someone could tell me of a car that could beat that that is $25,000 that is 1997 or newer and is a stock car, no mods. It would help me because I am on the market for a vehicle, Thanks Guys, I knew I could come here for help!

Yea the Evo RS is 26k new so maybe a slightly used RS would be the best car for you

Other cars you shouldnt rule out are:

Supra TT
Ford Mustang Cobra
Chevy Camaro Z28
Pontiac Firebird V8

MKIV Supra. Have to find a 94-95 but they are all the same
Any LS1 Fbody
300ZX
3000GT VR-4s
03 Cobras with some miles are now going for less than 25k. Best overall bang for your buck.
SVT Lightnings

Thing is he said 97 and newer.

They stopped making the 300zx for the 96 model year.
It'll be next to impossible to find a 97-99 VR4 (made under 900 in a course of 3 years).
Since he said 97 and newer, a 94-95 MKIV TT is out. For some reason I'm doubtring too he can find a 97-98 MKIV TT for under $25k...

I know. But there really isn't anything worth getting thats 97 or newer and 25K or less IMO. SRT-4 and WRX are really your only options. Fbodies and stangs still can be had. But for imports, not anything there really, unless you think a 350Z is worth 25K, which I dont.

Makes sense to me too. But I'm just going to go by what he requests.

I wouldn't mind a '95 300ZXTT...possibly a '95 SMZ 300ZXTT! Damn I wish I had one of those. Guy in my Neighborhood had one and sold it for just over $40k. They had 365hp stock.

The '91 SMZ edition had 460hp stock

Stock '95 SMZ! http://www.cardomain.com/ride/812648
