here's the Camaro

Well, I'm finally done with it. It's a Black Metallic 35th anniversary 2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS. The paint is a little messed up because I can't get good coats with brand new paint. But enough talking, here it is:

got them subs yo!

and the classic window photo to finish it off.

so? Besides some of the paint, does it look good or no?

Well done, but... Hows about getting rid of that interior shot, it hurts my freakin' eyes.

Can't really tell...all the pics are garbage. Try using some lighting and not just the flash...or picture it with a contrasting flat background...and not back lit.

So far it looks like a firecracker candidate...(jk )

That's in the room with all the lights and they were all on. The sunlight just messes it all up

Try using some diffused lighting...like from a lamp with a shade...and have someone else help you. I know you're not a professional photographer, but you seem to take a lot of time and pride in these builds. Try and take the same for the pictures that show them off. Just my opinion.

Otherwise it does look pretty cool.

Are those Kicker speakers in the back window?

I will try that. I'll go take some more pics (pehaps outdorrs because it's somewhat warm now). As for the suibwoofers, I was going for a Kicker look but if you know another sub company that has the red cone like that that you like, then they're that brand. I just did it for more color.

So...a little better. But now...either you need a better camera or you are pressing the shutter button before the camera focuses or you need to set the camera on "macro" for the close up shots.

I wait around 30 seconds before I take each pic. I think the camera has time to adjust. I wish I had the macro option but I don't. I guess my camera is just shit.

Actually...you (or the camera) may be focusing on the wrong "subject." The wood deck seems to be clear (on the pic of the exposed engine) but the car isn't.

that's true. My camera has had a problem with focusing on the wrong subject. Ohh well.

Does your camera have a high resolution option? If it does, try setting it to high res and stand back a little farther. Then in whatever you use to photo manipulate (I use Photoshop) crop the pic and change the resolution to something slightly lower. It usually works with my old digital camera...and I know mine is much older than yours. Mine is an Olympus D600L...and it is about useless for taking good pics!!

But please don't think I'm any less impressed with your work as I know and can see the care you take in building them.

2.0X zoom and stand around 2 feet away works best out of anything. I've tried a lot of different options on the camera and nothing works. Ohh well. Thanks for the tips BW. I think we're going to get a new camera soon so I'll try and get one with macro
