I had to chop off one of my arms for a tank here and that was just for regular! If I wanted premium it would have cost me my first born.

$0.54 for 87 octane (litre) at the cheapest place, but its at an average of $0.63 the 87 octane and around $0.65 for 93 octane.

used to be at $0.35 for 87 and $0.40 for 93 exactly one year ago.......... and we actually bitch about it while the rest of the world pays twice as much as us for cheaper stuff

We bitch about it because the oil companies negotiate prices per barrel of crude only about 4 times a year, so weekly fluctuations in price do not reflect changing COSTS, but are simply the local companies getting greedy.

Notice OTHER refined petroleum products don't change price like that (how much is a quart of oil where you're at compared to a year ago?)

I believe it was somewhere around $2.67 a gallon here for 87 in upstate NY. And to believe earlier this summer when I got gas it was $2.20 something. That was the one good thing about a Cavalier...$20 and your tank was full..and it got wicked gas mileage. Had to be 30 MPG I think?
