AE86 + S2000 engine = Boyeah!

I got bored so I found this ae86 with an s2000 engine swap, revs to about 10k.

Dude you must be really bored . The article about that car is old now that Hotstaff has built a few more of these. If you watch BMI Roaring VTEC you'll see the drift king testing out a coupe version.

Theres a kid around here that bought a crashed S2000 from some old guy (what a dumbass). The engine from the S2000 was still in perfect condition so he took it out and put it into his 92 Accord. It is FAST. I wish i had that under my hood

get me some pics or i wont believe that.

you're talking about mounting a longitude rwd engine into a transverse fwd engine bay.

that's basically impossible without changing everything like suspension, brakes, diff, underbody, crossmembers, cv joints, engine bay, firewall, dash etc... and even if he had a type-s nsx engine it wouldn't mount, even though they're a transverse mounted engine, the gearboxes on them are mounted for longitude engines, thus meaning that an nsx engine would fit straight into an ap1*s2000*.

That's true, for the amount of money you would need to do that; i would rather spend it on a used S2000. My friend picked up a used 2000 S2000 with medium mileage for 18,000. He bought it from a weird place too; Saskatchewan, the canadian farming prarie province. Why would they have a S2000 there?

No idea. ive seen his car. ive never seen the engine. but that car FLIES. so i have no idea how he did it but apparently he did. I was told it took him over a year to get the car on the road after the engine swap.

until you've seen it with your own eyes, don't assume, don't believe people.

this one guy tryed to tell me that he had a an SR22DETT, apparently a V6 twin turbo producing over 400hp in his FWD Nissan EXA(N12).

so, until you see shit with your own eyes, then don't believe.

As long as the bellhousing fits the engine and gearbox together you can do any configuration.

But some Honda engines turn the opposite way round...
