How about the original Mini? There's a 500 page tuning guide for it's A-series engine alone plus it'll go like stink with a modern engine transplant.

If your looking for four cylinder fun go with a Volkswagon golf, the germans always know how to make their cars. I know the VW isn't american but hey the other three are lol. And if you don't know this the 351 came as a windsor or a cleveland. If you can find a cleveland then you are god nowadays. Thx Ford for making so few of a great engine.
What are you talking about? My uncle has probably 6 351 Cleavelands laieing around his shop at any given time. They made a bunch of that engine.

The best hot rod sound in the WORLD comes from a 302. Even hardcore Chevy guys will admit it.

My uncle has one in his 71 Mach 1 that he uses as a drag car. Its bored and stroked out to a 672 Talk about horsepower, it makes 1100 to the wheels WITHOUT the nitrous!

No on the cleveland part

They didn't make a lot of clevelands they made a lot of Windsor's if he did find that he probably found the mexican cleveland... not much different but its not as strong as original. If you have an original cleveland it is an oddity. Normally anyone who has a 351 has a windsor. Get the id off the engine and u'll know if its a true cleveland tho.
