Mad Max (Falcon XB Coupes)

I was watching a few older car movies today and i got thinking/remembering the movie 'Mad Max' and the 'Interceptor'. I was just wondering if you can find any of the cars used to make 'Interceptor' (70's Falcon XB Coupe) clones in Canada/USA or if you'd have to Import them from Australia?

I was also wondering if anyone knew any sites on where you can get some of the parts to make a clone (nose, spoilers, wheels, side pipes). If one would need to be Imported, what would approximate costs be to buy and Import? Any help/information will be appreciated, thanx.

BTW: I'm not saying i'm gonna do this, i'm just curious as to costs, etc cause i wouldnt mind a semi clone, thanx again.

Dunno about the actual importing, but here you go. This one is way expensive, but the only 2-door I can find so far.

That is a sweet looking car, i dunno if i'd ever wanna cover up the nose on one, they look too good. Its too bad we didnt get some of the same cars you got in Australia.

If that ones way expensive, then what is or should be a normal/fair amount?

Obviously depends on the condition etc... but that one's in good nick ... if you just search for XB falcons on that site, there are a couple of 4 door ones (obviously not as desirable), and they're a couple of grand.

Here's a website that specializes in bringing Aussie cars to the US.

Enjoy.
