EVO8 motor problems

So i've heard the 2002 lancer evo's engine is hard to maintain? Is this true? I've been looking to trade my Z for a lancer Evo . its modded with 350hp. I dont know what the guy has done to it but it looks pretty badass. when i saw it i was like . My Z has 400hp. But this is an Evo, I dont know. Im thinking about it. But i love my Z so much and I just did a Swap.

As my name suggests, I am bias towards the Z. While I was attending school I worked at the Mitsu dealership as a service advisor. All I will tell you is that if you get a Mitsubishi, plan on getting to know your local technician well. There is a reason why Mitsubishi gives them away with 0% financing and a year of differed payments.

I would stick with the Z. There's a reason it is the best selling line of sportscars in the world.
