True, but you'd think it would be a bit better than the Neons...

You aren't going to be racing the Viper 100% of the time. Casual driving, its nice to have a good radio.

I disagree, if someone who has enough money to buy a Viper then they have a car to casually drive. I KNOW PEOPLE WHO HAVE OWNED VIPERS. 2, they said they never drove it just around. They drove it fast, both of them sold their cars before they reached 15,000 miles. One guy only drove his 4-500 miles because he was scared of it.

well, my gf's grandpa now has 2 vipers and his old camaro. im not sure wat car he is daily driving now (he usually changes), but last time he was going around in an accord for daily driving.

ppl with those sorts of expensive cars usually dont use them for daily driving cuz they want them to last. those cars usually break down faster than any other sort of car (for obvious reasons). if they invested that much money buying a reall fast car, they want to make sure that it lasts that damn long (his own words actually).

my old boss sold his modena and bought an SRT-10 now. so now, he has a Yukon, an older S/C+Nitro Viper, and a brand new SRT-10. said the same damn thing as my g/f's grandpa.

I wouldnt go as far as saying that dodge is retarded. I do agree that the charger is an embarassment though. Making it look like a family car.

Most people I know with Vipers really couldn't give two shits what the stock stereo sounds like, as the engine is what they are listening to. All they care is if it makes a bit of noise, IF they turn it on (or if they don't remove it entirely).

Most aren't musicians or audiophiles, and the stock stereo is simply not an issue.

This is me in my buddy's GTS:

The stereo simply isn't somthing anyone cares about. In cars like this (and like my RX7, which didn't even HAVE a radio, even though I drove it on the street all the time), it's way low on the priority list. Yes a FEW owners will go with afftermarket units, and get crazy with stereo gear, but they would have done that regardless of what the FACTORY came with.

This is why listening to non-drivers and teenagers like Oomba is so pointless. If you listen and follow ignorance, you will BE ignorant. Like this:

It's a good thing we ARE on the web, as in person at this point, I'd be kicking your nuts so hard your DAD would fall an the floor in pain...

Hmm, like most of the Chargers of the past? Hell, the LAST Charger was a 4 cyl, FWD econobox! This one, at least, is a serious performance car.

Ohh, is the new one less of a musclecar that this?

This one at least was RWD, but wow, it was pretty slow.

Here's the '76 Charger Daytona:

'Cause, you know, the NEW one's an "embarrasment" to the Charger name...

And in '77...

318 and torqueflite automatic. But the NEW one's an embarrasment...

it didnt' start looking good until '78:

But then it went to FWD, like the one I posted above.
