small block chevy in Gremlin

i'm thinking about putting a SBC/powerglide in a gremlin,,,,and I was wondering what kind of motor mount/header hell I will be going through,,,anyone in particular i need to talk to??

A lot of what you'll be looking at wil be one-off stuff. AMC put a V8 in them, so there's more than ample room, but all the mounts will have to be custom. I'd say get the basic engine mounts from a street rod shop, and then use shorty or block hugger headers that you can simply attach single downpipes to to start the exhaust system.
