Any Ford 6x8 or any 5x7 speaker will drop right in, a 6x9 will fit with a little modification. You're not going to get any CLEAN bass from a 5x7/6x8 or 6x9 if you power it with just the Head Unit. You have to run at least a little amp to it.

Here's a few speakers...

Alpine Type-R = $78

These sound real good, but only when amped, we installed four of these in my friend's Thunderbird and with just the HU powering them they dont sound much better than stock "premium" speakers did with a new HU, you NEED to run an amp.

Kicker KS/K series = $78 for component and

The K series is just a KS coaxial but in component form with a crossover.

Pioneer TS-A = $55

Infinity Reference = $60

Boston Acoustics FX = $65
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_3102.html

Boston Acoustics S = $80
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_5021.html

Here's the big boys...

Infinity Kappa = $110
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_4278.html

Boston Acoustics SX = $115
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_5883.html

The Boston Acoustics S series is probably the best deal of them all.

Dont forget to run at least a little amp to them...anything is better than Head Unit power....
Orion 3002 - $66 (Steal!)

Personally I like Pioneer TSA series. Dont expect to get good bass from speakers though. Youll most likely never be able to hit the kind of low tones on speakers as from a sub. Since you have a truck, put a bazooka tube behind the seat. you can get an 8 inch with builtin amplifier for around 200. They are great in trucks.

bazookas are still crap for what you CAN get though.... you can actually get some pretty decent subs - there is the Pioneer TS-SW124D...only 4" mount depth, and kicks way harder then a bazooka....

As for speakers - If you want speakers that can get pretty loud from the deck - check out Concept Audio, Pioneer TSA(possibly REV, all depends on what you think of them), Clarion, Rockford, and Kicker. You could always step up and get into Eclipse, Focal, or Boston, but thats more money
