If memory serves me correctly, I believe BMW paid the same guy that later designed the DeLorean (sp?) to design the M1...or at least he had a hand in it. Let me see if I can find the link.

I'm not going to say you're wrong, but I don't recall Larry Shinoda having anything to do with the Delorean.

I was wrong...BMW hired Lamborghini to design, develop and produce the M1. Giorgetto Giugiaro was contacted for bodywork, styling and construction. It was Giugiaro that was involved with Delorean.

**according to a friend.**

Shinoda was responsible for the Boss 302. Maybe that's how I got confused.

delorean was also on the design team. so maybe he didn't do it himself, but he helped to do it.

There's just too many choices for me. I can't decide on what cars to put on my list of top five: -
Dodge Viper or Mitsubishi Eclipse?
Ferrari Enzo or Toyota Supra?
Lamborghini Diablo VT or Nissan Skyline GTR?
Porsche GT3 or Civic Si?
Mercedes SL600 or Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution?
