This is my third ******* time typing this. It keeps freezing when I click submit.

Alex, do you want me to call you a liar now or later? Here is the actual summarized conversation.

Alex: the alternator?
Alex: are you mad?!
Me: I heard that that's what can make the sound
Alex: lol
Me: and if I'm wrong and I get flamed for it
Me: then I'll admit im wrong
Alex: who told you that?
Me: I'm not sure
Me: I think I was once told that an alternator bearing can make a similar sound to the belt and that's what we might be hearing here.

Got to say best bit of advice here is spraying degreaser or even wd40 on each belt in turn to see if it is a belt problem or not.
Seems to have got lost in the bickering.
Any chance of an update on this?

Muffler broken? check that maybe that could be it.

Forgot to add my explination...ok well while listening to it i thought it sounded like metal grinding...when a car turns on the only thing that can come in mind is muffler.

You jackass.. After 3 pages of answering and we are narrowed down to 2 things, you come and present something from the complete other end (and i mean that literally and fuguratively)
If your muffler whistles like than then maybe you have This in there. Otherwise, a muffler fault would result in rumbling, if it were from a hole or whatever else.
