I'm not going to drive 30 mins to my buddies garage to take a picture to prove anything to you guys. It's not that hard to believe that someone would have a 78 trans am. I bought it for 3000 a few years back when it didnt run. It still doesnt run that well.

Well, that explains why you'd want a '78 T/A. And if you really were interested in an answer to your question, you'd at least tell us what engine it has in it. Think hard, this might be a trick. On second thought, I don't want you to put yourself under any undue strain, so just continue along as you were.

So what engine does your imaginary car have?

Wrong answer. Would you like to try again or collect the "I don't know shit about what I claim to be buying award"?

Three V8s were offered in 78, the 400 and 403, and the Chevy 305.

I beleive the 403 was an Olds. Dont hold me to that though

Moron. The 305 wasn't offered in the T/A in '78. Get a grip on something besides your weenie.

The 403 was made from 1977 to 1979 and used across the Buick, Olds, Pontiac and Cadillac vehicle lines. It was also used in other applications like motor homes, boats and some industrial applications. It was sort of meant to replace the previous use of big block engines in the BOP line. Stock specs on a 1977-79 403 are: 185hp@3600 RPM, 320ft/lbs torque @2200 RPM, 4.351 x 3.385 bore/stroke, 8.0:1 compression ratio

Then I guess you will be stuck riding shit on wheels forever
BTW your "piece neon" makes no sense. My neon will take your imaginary T/A untill you take off some weight, and put some more power into it. Nuff said
