how much are you willing to spend? also do you already have an amp, or will you need an amp to power the sub?

Well I haven't heard of Cadence before but I know that the Rockford P3's are awsome subs...they are better than P2's which I have and sound awsome in a sealed box. Can deliver some nice crisp bass ( I have a 10" and a 12" ... it deals one hell of a thump which shakes the walls inside my house and makes the windows rattle )

For that amount go on ebay and get 2 10" Alpine type-X...should cost around $500 for both and boy do those things ever pound like hell. You can even go 12" if ya wanted to but the 10" have tighter bass. Get a good 1000W RMS(NOT PEAK) amp for around $300 and then ya have $200 left over for the box and wires

Would be better if ya built the box yourself too cuz then you could spend a bit more. Just use 3/4-1" MDF and make a box outta it. Of course the ones you buy always look better but they are more expensive

eww type x, type r's sound better, type x are way to overpriced

dude if you have that much money to spend get like 2 12" RE XXX, or a 15" RE MT, then just get the new 12.1 and you'll have a matching setup. build the box yourself for sure, then with the leftover get some wire, and you should loook into a alarm system if u dont already have one. but i like RE, their GOOOOOOOOD shit

http://www.reaudio.com/html/

also if you really wanted to go all out, depending on how loud u really wanna go, you could get a tcab box and then pretty much no matter what sub you'd pound rediculously hard

Ive got 2 '05 Kicker CVR 10" on the kx600.1 amp. It pounds, i had to reseal my boxes cause they blew the wire terminal out. the subs are about $130 U.S. and the amp was $500. Ive NEVER had any problem with the amp, and i wired it screwy a dozen times.
