Nashville Auto school

Nashville auto diesel university called me about applying for there school.
The descriptions sounds perfect promised job placement complete certification etc and other things they offer. In fact it sounds too good.
Does anyone know if this is a real place or just some scam?

I heard that there was some 40 year old guy who taught you out of his parents' basement

Seriously, go take a tour of the place...

Nashville is a good school, but there is no such thing as gauranteed certification or job placement. My concern is about them contacting you. I have never heard of them (or any other) school of that type cold calling potential students. Have you requested information from them recently or possibly had a shop teacher do so on your behalf?

Are you wanting to do the automotive/diesel or the collision repair? I have personally employed people who where Nashville graduates and they seemed to have reasonably good training. Also have you thought about diploma versus degree? It takes longer and costs more, but I think in the long run the degree program will open more doors for you.

Automotive and diesel is what I am considering but Idealy I would like to take both.
I was thinking diploma. More education the better. I realy hope to work on cars in some fashion or another one day.

it's real. two of my good friends went there after hs... they went for bodywork, and came out as two pretty damn good bodymen... they both have pretty good jobs now, but they're totally unrelated to automobiles... fwiw....
