antifreeze

just replaced radiator in 1995 240sx and not sure of the amount of antifreeze/distilled water to use. anyone out there know?

Most of the time I usually put in half coolant and half water and then fill my overflow resivoir with water. It may say different on the back of a coolant container but I don't have one handy to let you know.

Different manufacturers reccommend different mixes, but I usually do the same as you....50/50 split works for me!

Should say on the back of the bottle, but if not then do 50/50

lol i know the whole 50/50 deal, i was just wondering how MUCH...one gallon, two gallons, three gallons?

usually I'll just dump one gallon in, then fill the rest up with water...always worked fine for me

7.13 quarts.

4 quarts= 1 gallon

Remember you are mixing 50/50, so you take 1 gallon of coolant and mix with 1 gallon of distilled water and you should have 8 quarts of mix...a little more than what is needed.

i've heard that 70/30 is actually the most effective mix, but have fun measuring that all out...
