It should be about $1,000, according to KBB, it's 2,100, but that's in excellent condition..

I think its a good deal if the mileage isn't too high. I personally like MKII's myself, but I don't know about the reliability. I hear people from both ends of the spectrum talking about.

I think would make a good first car , and all first cars should be stick!
It might be the case that we're worlds apart over here, but just because your tests as to what's roadworthy over there, are probably different to ours over here, rust is still rust, and chances are, if it's bad rust, it's gonna be classed as un-roadworthy if it's where I was asking if it was!

Yes definately. $450 was cheap with the work needed and $1000 was closer to the mark even then, so $1100 is a very reasonable offer!

Oh...you best make sure it's not stolen before ya buy it though lol!

Graphite is always a nice colour, it has kinda sparkles in it.....more of a dark grey than black though!

As for checking to see if it's stolen. Here in the UK we have a Registration Document, and providing the Chassis (VIN) number matches, you should be ok. Check carefully though. It might be worth paying a small fee to have it run through a database, some companied provide this service. Your mechanic should know all about this anyweay!

Thanx Chris, I looked for images via Google but couldn't post any as the links were dodgy lol. I love Graphite though, probably the nicest colour a car could be!
