You might want to forget the H2, sounddomain dropped their savings on orion products...they had the H2's listed from $200-$279, now they are back to retail; price.

Yes you can connect your ipod to the premier, or any of those HU's. They all have AUX inputs.

I dont shop ebay so i wouldnt recommend it.

Those HU's are all sing DIN, they also have Din an half and Double DIN HU's. You can fit a SINGLE DIN HU in any place.

ED is a top notch brand, way better than any mainstream brand. They make very high quality stuff.

Go with the EDI 6000s (or EDI 6500s) and Nine.2 amp.

You can get a shop to build you a ported box for about $200 for 2 15's fit to spec. 2 15's in a golf isnt hard at all. But if you want to save some space go with some 12's.

As I have said before... worry about the exterior and engine parts before a sound system or performance... unless you have 5k sitting in your lap.....

Dont worry, two 16ov.2's will give you PLENTY of output on a Nine.1 amp @ 1ohm. Especially in a ported box. I've seen people hit mid-high 140dB's EASILY with that setup. With more juice some go over the 150dB mark, that's plenty of bass, CLEAN bass. I've heard all of Elemental Designs lineup, some of the best quality products from a company I've ever seen (the entire line is flawless, even the $50 EU-700 driver is AMAZING). The W7 is in a class up from the OV.2 but for the price of ONE 13W7 you can have TWO 16OV.2's (you do the math, what will be louder, one 13.5" woofer or TWO 15" woofers). You have more output and near the same quality of sound with OV.2's over the W7.

.....of course theyre better then MTX.

and I hope you enjoy your hearing while it lasts. because you won't have it long if your always playing it like that. and furthermore, that doesn't make you cool.

Yes, MTX isn't a very high up there brand in subwoofers. Remember to be a RESPONSIBLE bass addict. It's people like with your attitude that so stringent laws have been set-forth by police against louder car stereo systems. Enjoy your own music at a responsible level when you're in crowded areas or going through neighborhoods, dont make everyone else pissed off in the process. IT will only lead to MORE restrictions. When you're more alone and in more rural areas, go ahead, pound away.
