Question about Spray Painting Wheels...

Welll I got some wheel cleaner and some wheel coationg (Dupli-Color HIGH Performance Wheel Coating) from autozone and I was wondering if anyone has done this before? I want to know if I HAVE to remove the wheels before spray painting them, or if there is another easier way? I have the stock Turbine wheels still on her and the center hubcaps are beginning to fade, as wheel I would just like to make my wheels look nice until I get new ones. If I HAVE to remove the wheels how should I do this? Jack the car up then simply remove them one at a time? Thanks for any help!

id say if you just mask off the tires and the fender around the wheel
there shouldnt be any problem, you can also cover it in newspaper

But if you didn't remove the wheels, wouldn't there be spots where the lugs are? I'd jack up the front and put it on stands. Then I'd take both front wheels off and paint them. After they are dry, put them back on then do the same with the back. That's just me though.

Whatever you do though...paint the entire thing not just the middle cap. Otherwise there will be a huge color difference...
