I hope you either A. tell the truth and get fined and/or have a slightly less stringent punishment on the points or B. lie, have them find out, and then get completely f*cked. The choice is yours, but at some point you need to be honorable.

But I kinda hope that you dont get a lenient punishment because it is your first time simply because it seems like you need an awakening. I mean, you have committed a hit and run (felony) and drove at 20 mph over the speed limit (felony). Time for someone to do the right thing for once.

Ya, sure, I speed, but when I do its only 5-10 mph tops over the limit and if I was caught I wouldnt lie about it. He was going 20 mph over and is going to lie to the judge about some blow a fuse bs. Plus he's already done a hit and run. He needs to stop and be honest at some point, why not now?

What makes you think you are so special NOT to get insurance points because you CHOSE to speed? Pay the fine and take responsibility for your actions.

Which was exactly my point. Grow up and learn to take responsibility.

You will tell the judge the truth, and you WILL take responsibility for your actions, regardless to what they are, be it a ticket and points, or getting off.

In terms of respect, you were already at zero in my book, NewYorker. But now, you've sunk even lower. God forbid you EVER get ANY responsibility in life. I wouldn't trust you with a library card. God forbid this judge trusts you with a license.

You may not be lying via words, but you are lying by what you imply.

Makes me wonder where your parents went wrong.

I will say yes I was speeding and will be more than glad to pay the fine, but feel points are too harsh since this is my first incident. What she does is up to her.

I'm sure we already know the answer to that.
