Lightbulb SQ oppinions

Right, ive got a single cab truck and am trying to build reasonably cheap SQ system. I know its impossible to win any comps with a truck, but its for my own ears isnt it?
My setup is a JVC 40x4 HU w/ single preamp.
Front spkrs=(2) pioneer 6.5" /\
Rear spkrs=(2) pioneer 6.5 w/(2)chronic audio tweets on a pyramid 2chnl.
Subs= (2) Kicker CVR 10" 4ohm in series on a Kicker 600.1 amp

any ideas or suggestions please.

A) you could easily win SQL comps with a truck....

B) What's your budget, and what kind of music do you listen to?

And I'll get something together for you later, at work right now.

First thing you need to do is get a good HU with at least front and sub pre-outs.

thanks, that'd be great. I listen to classic rock, blues, and just about anything but rap. my buget is pretty limited, as is space in the cab. my subs are in seperate standard 1.5c.f. sealed boxes. I would appreciate any advice but i cant realy spend much money right now.

Give us a rough price, I usually try to stay well below so you can play with the components a bit....

right now my bugget is null, but over the summer i'd say about 500$. Most of the speakers i already have, im thinking about EQ's & crossovers, i wont have the $$ for a good HU for a while but im looking at the new Pioneer's and JVC's. BTW the JVC HU i have now is an older model (SD***?), i metered the voltage from the preamp and its at ~2volt, so i think i might need a couple Y-adapters and a linedriver? Those would be cheaper than a crossover right?

okay, how about you tell us exactly what you have now, because the ambiguity of that post has lost me.
