What engine and what drive type?, I think older TT's were available in FWD formation aswell as AWD

fixed. it's true... the TT's AWD isn't really. it's a FWD with "i guess the rear wheels can do some work when i REALLY REALLY REALLY need them.

Surely the Quattro system is the same on all Audi's?.....I was refering to the fact that most AWD's aren't full AWD.....Like most have a 60/40 split.....maybe our wires were crossed!

actually, it's not. the "quattro" system on the TT is the same as the 4motion system VW uses, which is not a true AWD system, but FWD most of the time, but AWD some of the time.

I saw an Audi (*A4*?) on Top Gear, it was a diesel and he managed to get ~40?50? mpg. He said that all the gauges in the car were telling him "NO GAS!! STOP A**Hole". He joked that he wondered if Audi new they made a car to run on air LOL. Anyway, does the TT come in removable hardtop?
