honda speed upgrade

hey, i just got a 1990 honda civic hatchback and i was wondering what kind of things i could do to up the horse power.. for relatively cheap. thnx

IF just want it to be a little quicker do the usual mods... Intake, header, exhaust. Plenty of parts available for the D15 motor.

What's your budget?...I'd suggest intake and exhaust too though...

Might run u a bit over 600 canadian, but itl be noticable.

if you really want to wake it up, do a DPFI to MPFI swap, get a full exhaust system, and an intake to fit the DPFI to MPFI swap. should put you in the 130 to 140 range. not to bad for a d15

I say Superchip her...assuming it's available on this model....should be ok given that it's not too early (as long as it has an ECU it should be ok...which it does have lol)...quite costly, but can improve fuel economy and makes it smoother running, too. It'll add around 20bhp depending on what sort you get!....a mans Mod lol....none of that "K&N" stuff here lol
