but contrary to popular belief, unless they are making a newer, better performing engine, a compnay does what the crowds want, its how they make money you know?

hence why i think the 4g63 will stay inside the lancer, the whole lineup, but if anything does change, i think the GEMA engine will be based on the 4g63, it might even be in the 4g family produced by mitsu but used in all the other companies

this may have already been covered, but I read somewhere they were just
putting in the exact same engine, 276hp or whatever it is,

nevermind, I read it on caranddriver and/or roadandtrack

and it only says that "the concept X is powered by a 2.0 liter 4 cyl turbo with over 300 hp and 325 lbft

I thought they were talking about the production version, my bad

but even that doesn't mean that it's the 4G63T or not.

im just hoping the engines gonna be a little bigger,

when you first see this big 4 door sports car, you dont think 2.0 liter lol

maybe a 3.5 v6 or something like that, (with turbo) thatd be nice

it's only so small because of the restrictions in the rally racing that the evolution participates in... they keep the same engine in the road model for whatever specific reason (it rocks, cheaper to produce one engine for both things, whatever...)

i serously doubt they'd give it anything other then a 2.0L turbo I4. SLIGHT chance of a 2.4L turbo I4... but i doubt it.

yeah, I forgot about the rally stuff,

they have to be under 300hp now too
now torque is another story

and id really like to see this in rally car form,
