newyorker's purchases

Would like to issue a congratulations to my buddy, newyorker for his new purchase of rims and muffler. Hopefully we can post up some pictures later. Both are "love it or hate it" kinda thing. I think the rims look good (I'd go a bit bigger, but they look good) but not a big fan of the muffler as it's 6 inches past the car and too ricey. Any opinions are welcome once the pics go up.

He already posted pics of the wheels, and I like them personally, he showed the exhaust too, but not yet on the car, can't wait to see pics of that...

They'll look bigger once he decides to drop it. Do my wheels look like 15's????

Exactly, but they're tiny little 15's. I've been asked many times what kinda of 16's or 17's I had .

My friends show car has 19's (biggest size you could go on a Civic). They look like 20's when it's dropped (air ride).

Personally I don't think the car looks bad, but I think the stock alloy colour snowflakes would suit the dark green of the car better then a faded black. I actually saw a set of those snowflakes (not painted) on a Volkswagen Jetta at the scrapyard I was at today.

I tried telling him that alloy would have suited his car a hella lot more, but he didn't listen . In the end, it's his Neon.

Woah! Elchango, he bought them from you? I did not know that.

EDIT: Woah, forget I said that, I mis-read the post.

I saw that in the other thread, and I agreed, but as you said it's not us who needs to be pleased with it.

Some of them (first 6 or so) are still with the muffler not installed, but all others are installed. Enjoy!
P.S. Dont agree about the muffler. It produces a deep sound, not one like a beehive on drugs. Il see if I can get some soundclips of it up in a few days...its better than the stereotypical

Mine is

Im guessing its the pinch towards the end that doenst make it scream so loud, but im also guessing that I get a deeper tone, simply becuase its a Neon, and not a Honda.

How can you so enthusiastically defend the Neon from all of our stereotypical bashings, and yet so quickly dish it out at another make? You're such a hypocritical bastard.

Only thing is that's not news. He's been called out on his hypocrisy numerous times. It's pretty clear he's a hypocrite.
