If you trust the people. If they mess it up, you're fooked. But for $300, I'd say go for it.

Then again, you've been spending a lot on your car lately...

I wont' vote, i'll say maybe. Driving stick is so much more enjoyable then driving automatic. If your comfortable driving stick then go for it, if you plan on keeping the car for a while. Depends if the people do legit work, or they are just trying to screw you out of your cash.

I'd say no... On the grounds that you pay for what you get. I dont like the Idea of a swap that would only cost three hundred INSTALLED! Seems pretty fishy to me IMO

The club is east Coast Neons. They had a tech day this weekend (well 2 tech days) and did a swap for a member. I read what he wrote nad siad the car pulls stronger (3speed to 5speed) and everythingb is really nice and smooth. I do plan to keep the car for at least 2 years, so well see. The guy still has to get back to me, and I gotta tihnk. I WIll bring it up at the meet this saturday when I go

sounds pretty good,

you might as well go all out with an engine swap and rear drive swap too,
even though a rear drive swap would cost a LOAD of money

but to go from auto to manual for 3oo bucks in total sounds good

Hey... carefull, ChrisV will tear you apart for saying that lol.....

I voted yes, as long as you're ok with the manual gears...I always thought it was a manual in the firstplace...

For someone who just lost their job, you sure are spending a lot of money on your car lately. Did you get a new one?
