driving schools?

Hey guys, my friend told me he knows a guy who went to "driving school" for a few years and learned how to drive high speed, maneuvering, etc. I didn't know places like these existed, has anyone heard of them or know where I could check them out (not that I could afford to go to one...)?

I've looked into those, and the one that appealled to me that was for a couple of months was the Bridgestone Racing Academy...For $1,200 they have an 8 month Mechanic/Racing Program:

I had to go to a driving school to get my license. Ohio state law. Some of the great techniques i learned
1- Maneuverability
2- How shitty government made instructional videos are
3- Hangman is a gift from God when sitting in a room doing nothing for 4 hours

Damn Ohio laws

Really? I didn't learn shit there. Of course I DID get in trouble for sticking a "My Little Pony" video in the tape player when the teacher wasn't looking and actually got yelled at. Long story but damn good times.

We're talking about 2 different types of driving schools. The one I'm referring to is more of a racing school, not driver's ed. Here in Massachusetts we are also required to go to driver's ed. if we're under 18. Did anyone else get that sweet video with Don Johnson? There was another one with "The Fridge" Perry in it (might have been the same one, they are all blurred together at this point) were they threw a crash dummy into a solid brick wall and he went straight through it at only 30 m.p.h. I don't know a lot about physics, but I don't believe that a human hitting a brick wall at 30 would go completely through it.

I thought it was kinda sad you had to tell him, but then I remembered who you had to tell.
